Have you seen such a perfect pout?

I’m sure some of us would do unforgivable things for Angelina Jolie’s plump lips, but ladies, we are working with what we’ve got, so let’s accentuate the goods!

Drinking plenty of water is #1 for sure. Our lips really do absorb as much water as they can get, so keep drinking (water) as much as your bladder can take!

If you find that you’ve got dry, flakey lips, grab a dry toothbrush and lightly go over your lips then getting your favourite lip balm and applying a generous amount for 5 minutes then blot. My favourite lip balm is Vanitymark’s Dr. Kiss that tastes like vanilla and mint (DELICIOUS!) it has a perfect satin finish and feels amazing on! With the small quirky pill shaped packaging it’s easy to fit into any cute clutch of yours.

Unfortunately for us Aussies we don’t get it back home but if you go http://vanitymark.com/products_drkiss.php you can go crazy with buying famous make-up artist to the stars Brett Freedman products.

I also love to wear lip gloss, it makes your lips appear bigger. It’s a great trick and really works. M.A.C has some really great lip glosses and their baby pinks are to DIE for! They are worth checking out. Chanel and Dior also have really nice glosses too.

Depending on your budget because not all of us can afford the luxurious, I find that getting a cheap, plain clear gloss is a good investment. (Priceline has some great bargains) If you have your Mum’s lipsticks at home you can put a little bit for colour underneath then smack on that clear gloss and you’ll look kissable in no time.

Kit cosmetics that is located in the Brisbane City Myer Centre has some affordable glosses as well, big tubes and a great range of colours. I love their Best-in-show. In the tube it’s a little plain champagne pink but on it looks slammin’ on any cutie (they also smell like mint). At $19.95 it’s a great buy and they last for ages (or until your older sister likes yours as much as you do). If you have a part time job and feel like rewarding yourself to something new for your make-up collection (which is every Sunday for me) it’s the perfect place to do so!
